RideCopilot does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All processing happens entirely on your device. The app reads on-screen text from the Uber Driver app solely to analyze trip requests in real time. This data never leaves your phone.
RideCopilot uses Android's Accessibility Services API to read visible text from the Uber Driver app. This is the same API used by screen readers and other assistive tools. We do not use this access to read any other app, collect passwords, or interact with any app on your behalf.
When you purchase a Pro or Annual subscription, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a license key confirmation but do not store your payment details, card number, or billing address. License keys are validated entirely on-device with no network request.
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Facebook SDK). We may collect anonymized, aggregated crash reports to improve stability, but these contain no personally identifiable information.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled. We do not share your information with any other third party.
RideCopilot is intended for adults who are active rideshare drivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
